Medicare Fraud - Government Investigation-Poor Care In South Florida

I may not agree with President Obama's entire health care reform bill, but there is one thing that is absolutely wonderful about it

The Crack Down on Medicare Fraud Will not only save money, but will save our elderly citizens from being caught up in a spiders web of deceit and lies.

When Medical Specialists IE; doctors, nurses, hospitals etc... fraudulently bill our medicare system with false claims of care it is wrong. What is happening to our elderly citizens is even more wrong.

Elderly people all over America are suffering dreadfully slow, painfull deaths due to Medicare Fraud.

Overly medicated, fraudulantly diagnosed, wrongfully treated,worn down and once medicare dollars are tapped out to the best ligitment looking potential of the physicians - left to suffer until they die.

It will save our young people now, when they become old enough for medicare they will be spared the slow, painful, untimely deaths that our elderly are suffering today.

It will save Me - it will save you!

"Most of the crime is done by individuals billing the government or insurance companies for medical care or equipment that either wasn't necessary or never existed in the first place."

This is what the "safe" physicians do, but as the investigation goes on I suspect it will be found it goes much, much deeper than that.

An Oncologist in Florida literally does not even have enough chairs for his cancer patients. In the waiting room of his office you will find cancer patients sitting on the floor waiting for chemotherapy treatments.

Many of these patients have cancers that do not require chemotherapy. The Oncologist doesn't care, he's making a killing from medicare!

In the mean time these poor elderly people are sick and suffering from a treatment they never even needed in the first place.

When my father in law was put into hospice at home I was approached by the head nurse and told, "we are changing your Father-in -laws diagnosis to cancer."

When I asked what for I was told, "to keep him in the system." Because he wasn't a dying man and didn't have cancer the nurse wanted to lie to keep his medicare dollars coming their way.

In the mean time my Father - In - law lie in the bed, given nothing but pure pain medication. All doped up with stroke level blood pressure; suffering unnecessarily.

The game - when the nurse took his blood pressure she never recorded on the paper work how high it really was. He was suffering, she didn't care.

Hospice was fired, a new doctor brought in and my Father - in - Law began being rehabilitated. Blood Pressure medications were given and he began getting better.

Had I left him in that hospice, he would have had a stroke from the high blood pressure that wasn't being recorded properly on the paper work. So, it would have looked like an old dying man just had a stroke and died.

The Hospice Nurses would have come in, said yep he is dying lets get the morphine going. My father in law would have been starved, doped up, and suffered until he died. Then, medicare would have received a final bill from the hospice for thousands of dollars.

They recieved one anyway, for thirty days , nearly $7,000.00! Medicare paid it.

This kind of thing is going on all over America

Interesting to note that after being fired, the hospice refused to release his medicare insurance.

My Mother-In-Law was placed into physical therapy in a nursing home in Florida. When I asked why physical therapy, she dosn't need it. I was told - "It's the only way Medicare will pay."

Money will be saved! 

Unnecessary suffering will be brought to a halt!
